Problem Statement: What can modern universities like HSLU Lucerne do to tackle mental health issues in students?
Background: In recent years, there has been an increasing number of young people who deal with mental health issues in a University setting. In Switzerland, as elsewhere, mental illness remains taboo, despite the country having one of the highest numbers of psychiatrists per capita in the world.
Methodology: System Mapping, Context Mapping, PESTLE analysis, ICEBERG Model, Future Scenario Building, GIGA Mapping, Visual Mapping.
Outcome: Stress Factors in HSLU were mapped out in several categories, in terms of spatial design, course modules, mental health services and many more with a detailed scenario GIGA map for HSLU to use and create interventions
